Pompidou Centre AKA Beaubourg Museum

It's done I finally pushed the doors of Beaubourg to enter in Paris' museum reference (at least about modern art).
Considered by many as a wart on the face of Paris with its structure made of pipes the insides will please the fond of modern art as me.
On the 7 levels, I during my journey there took part to 3 levels (without the same intensity as I was running out of time...)
Floor 6: Lucian Freud temporary exhibit - as the name gave you a clue, he is the grandson of the famous Sigmund, sometimes due to the display of his piece, you clearly understand which part of his grandfather theory he liked the most...
Floor 5: the modern collection. The ticking of the clock made me to increase the tempo of the tour! You are welcoming by the masterpiece of Fernand Léger, Composition with two parrots.
And then many rooms with artists as Matisse, Picasso (amazing collection there by the way), Kandinsky, Man Ray, Le Corbusier...
That visit allowed me to put names of artist on paints I saw in the past on books - it helped me also thanks to the comment beside the works to understand the meaning of some of them.
Floor 4: the contemporary level - elles@centrepompidou, on which I have to admit I ran on the alley instead of strolling (due to the lack of time not of the topic!!!). The main purpose of this floor is the display of work by women artists thinking about the question of women in art - some were more than interesting while others make people deranged, I have to go deeper on the latter works.
I will come back to Beaubourg to finish the 4th floor visit and the basements.
