Brussels

Last weekend I went to Brussels. My last journey there took place in 1990, and only the Grand Place remained from that previous visit into my memory...
All I did during this visit was only clichés...
I drank beer at every meal, but only Belgian beer. All my thoughts go to the Delirium Café, (called after the famous Belgian beer, with a pink elephant symbol) and its 2000 references...
I also ate fries at every meal (but no mussels...) - by the way the pictures embedded to that post shows a small fries-maker. Among the best in Brussels - standing Place Flagey in front of the former national radio station. The man describing himself as a craftsman. That man sorts the fries, removing all the ones with spots (even the smallest) and acting without no sense of humour at all...
I also stopped by a Belgian comics shop, and after that bought chocolate for Xmas!
To finish in the cliché, I sent my greetings to the Manneken Pis and to his female alter ego: Jeanneke Pis! If the man stood in Brussels from the 17th century, she arrived in the late 1990s. I heard about a dog acting the same but haven't seen him.
After doing all these tourist activities, I will go back next year to visit Magritte's Museum (sold out until February).
