Dr Feelgood

Yesterday night, I went to a concert of Dr Feelgood a band I never heard about before.
I must say, their performance was quite good, I was very impressed by the play of all of them, their charism and their skills on stage. As they play for more than 30 years now, you cannot expect something else from them.

They respect the dogma of R&R line up, with a singer, a bass, a guitar and the drums. The singer is keen on harmonica and managed to make it sounds good.
They were defined as one of the pop rock band explorer, but I have to admit they are Rock&Roll, with a touch of blues.
From the origin, the bassist and the drummer still remained, the two other have been replaced (death is one of the cause) but the spirit seems to be intact; ''You don't have to be a musician to play rock and roll. You've just got to love it and want to play it." said Lee Brilleaux (the founder of the band) in 1976. He passed away a couple of years ago.
I have to listen at their albums now to see if I find the same intensity in the songs on the album & on stage.
